The original Hoian Vinh Hung 1 Hotel is a 125 year-old Chinese trader's home a block from Hoi An's Japanese covered bridge on Tran Phu Street. For those who really want to soak in Hoi An's architectural flavor, stay in one of the two second-storey rooms in the original wooden house. Furnished with antique furniture and oriental rugs these rooms are the real thing. These rooms have a balcony overlooking Tran Phu Street and it was one of these Special Chinese rooms which recently served as Michael Caine's dressing room during the filming of The Quiet American.

- To offer our guests more comfort Vinh Hung 1 Hotel is at the moment being remodeled from a 12-room hotel to a 6-room hotel and will open again on the 1st of March 2008.
- Suite rooms: the suite rooms still have the old traditional architecture and atmosphere but now also have all the comforts of a modern hotel room; it is the perfect combination of modern comfort and old traditional style.
- Special Chinese: these rooms on the second floor give you the feeling of staying at a museum. The rooms are decorated in traditional Chinese style and have a balcony with a beautiful view on the romantic old town. The Special Chinese rooms, of course, also offer you all the comforts of a modern hotel room to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. It was one of these rooms that Michael Caine used as a dressing room while filming the Quiet American.

CHRISTMAS PARTY ( 24th December 2009 )

     Like every year, this year Vinh Hung Hotels and Resort will organize a Christmas celebration where all our Hotels’ guests are invited.
     The party will take place at Vinh Hung Riverside Resort on Christmas Eve and contrary to many other hotels our Christmas party will be free of charge.
     It will include music, dancing, a fashion show and games where guests will be able to join and win prizes and of course like every year, Santa Claus will be coming and hand out gift to children.
     Christmas is a family celebration and we at Vinh Hung Hotels and Resort will do our very best to give you a Christmas party in an informal atmosphere where you will feel at home.
     The staff of Vinh Hung Hotels and Resort is looking forward to spend Christmas Eve together with their guests.

    Give the New Year a perfect start with the New Year’s Party at Vinh Hung Riverside Resort !
    Vinh Hung Hotels and Resort will organize a party to celebrate the end of the year. For this party all the guests staying at any of the Vinh Hung Hotels will be invited and just like the Christmas Party it will be free of charge.
    The party will include music and dance, singing performances, games, a fashion show and champagne at 12 o’clock. After 12 we will open our discotheque, which will continue until the last guest has left.
    We will be honoured to start the New Year together with our guests.
    The New Year’s Party will begin at 9pm until the last guest has left.
